Week 2 vs. the Eagles
Week 2 found the Raiders facing the new Eagles (formaly Pythons). They have a new name and a new look, however they still play hard. The Eagles jumped out to a quick start by scoring the 1st 2 goals. The Raiders did not panic and came back with the next 3 goals taking the lead in the 2nd period. Then it was back and fourth, with the Eagles tieing up the score then the Raiders taken the lead again. Late in the 3rd, the Eagles tied the game again. The Raiders did have there chances after that with the Eagles taken pentalties late. There good defence did hold for the rest of the game, with the 2 teams finishing in a tie. It was a good hard physical game, and should bring good match ups the rest of the season!!
Next game scheduled for 11-07-09 @ 2:45pm in Rink 1.
Raiders will be facing the Ice Demons.
